New Single "I Am Home" available June 4th
After over a decade away from the music scene, Darren Golden, former singer of the Seattle band The Bradbury Press, is releasing his first single as a solo artist, titled 'I Am Home' on June 4th. The song will be available on music streaming services including Amazon, Apple Music and Spotify.
Co-written with debut Canadian songwriter, Dale Giffen, 'I Am Home' is a big-hearted Americana song about the sense of security and wellbeing felt in the presence of someone you love. It kicks off with a guitar strumming out the song's tuneful hook followed by Darren’s baritone voice pouring in like the warm evening sunlight. As the song progresses it crescendos to an intense peak with thick vocal harmonies and a driving rhythmic feel.
The song was recorded and produced by Darren and mixed and mastered by sound engineer, Brian Scheuble, who is credited on works by many mainstream artists including Dave Matthews, Tom Petty, Nine Inch Nails, and Cheryl Crow. The song’s artwork was created by Angelo Hilton, who also designed the cover for The Bradbury Press album “Live at the Crocodile”.
